Hi I’m Dr. Kimberly Albarran, PT, DPT, CFNP. I’m a physical therapist and certified functional nutrition

practitioner. I specialize in working with individuals with chronic pain. I chose this direction because I

saw that there was more to chronic pain than just physical tissue injury or tissue changes.

There was trauma and emotional stresses that were contributing to cycles of inflammation, muscle

tension, and pain. I have been incorporating diaphragmatic breathing for many years, but I noticed that

while that was helping with immediate release of stress and tension, it didn’t always have a long-lasting

affect.

In July of 2023, I decided it was time to move forward and use breathwork in my life and expand on my

tools to help clients release underlying emotions and trauma that have been keeping them sick, in pain

and stuck not being able to move forward in their healing process.   I'm on my own journey using

breathwork to release and let go of emotions that are not serving me.

I'm more focused, and clear and have less negative self-talk, creating momentum and movement in my

own life.   So, what is Somatic Trauma Release breathwork? It is a breathing technique that turns down

or even off the conscious mind, the part of our brain that talks to us and keeps us distracted. When we

can turn off the conscious mind or “monkey mind,” this allows us to access the subconscious mind to

reconnect the mind and body with the breath, releasing emotions that are not serving us and keeping us

stuck in patterns of behaviors and limiting beliefs that keep us from living our full potential.

Whether or not you have Chronic pain there is always healing that can happen within us. If you feel you

need an emotional and energetic reboot, I invite you to come join this Breathwork Journey and let go of

whatever is subconsciously not serving you.

Space is limited. Reserve your space now.

In Good Health, Dr. Kimberly!
